Totally Off Topic But Didn't Know Who Else To Ask

We have some citrus trees on our property and we want to set up a stand outside our house to sell bags of citrus...5lb or 8lb.

Now the question is where do we find those citrus bags at? I have searched the internet and called smart and final and cannot find them.

There was a place in Arizona that makes them but then I would have to pay shipping too.

When all else fails...go to the forum::

    Any ideas??

This is what my DH suggested too. I always make things more complicated than they need to be

But yes....this may be more feasible too.

Thanks silver. This helps a lot. I guess I just wanted to walk in and buy them. But I am considering these options too.

I wish we had citrus trees in our yard!

On a side note, is there any type of laws or city regulations about selling fresh picked fruit? I would make sure it is legal to do.

there are a few farms that I buy from and they make us bring our own bag/box. In the city I live in, even in the stores you must have your own bag or they will charge you .10 cents. No more plastic bags either in stores, everything is 100% recycled paper.

I would go with the grocery bag idea or have them bring their own bag/box.

Actually daycare has a good point--paper bags might be good too.

Thanks guys ! I think I like the paper bag idea too. I may just go with that.

As far as laws for selling fresh fruit...I will check on that. That's a good point.

I miss my fruit ****tail tree .... Had one many years ago when I lived in Florida. Loved having lemons, grapefruit and oranges all on the same tree. Yum! What I wouldn't give to be rid of all this snow and move back to the sunshine state!!

I can imagine how you miss it. I love going out to my backyard and picking fruit in the morning and evening. We have so many fruit trees...if we ever moved they would be missed!!

Ahhhhh, California I see! The arch rival of Florida citrus!
As for the stand, I'm sure a folding table and a sign will work.

Sunshine State and Golden State problems!:::: Sorry all y'all in colder climates.
