    Hiring An Assistant

I'm considering getting an assistant to hep me with my home daycare. I'd love to hear from others as I have so many questions.

    What to pay?
    Why consider a helper?
What else do I need to know legally?
    What do they do?
    Any other advice.

Thanks in advance for the help.

a lot of what your asking will be determined by what your state laws are.

For example in CA you must have workers comp insurance of a minimum of a 1million dollar policy for even 1 employee.

I think it would be best to go to the daycare.com front page and look at Nannyde how to interview or hire an employee. She has a very wonderful article that helped me out to make the decisions that I needed to make when I hired my asst.

Sometimes it's not really cost effective, like in my case, but it was most effective on my mental sanity...... The extra hand really helps me a ton.....
