I had an interview last week with dad of twin SA boys. I received a call AND email saying he chose my daycare & would like me to email him the enrollment forms & to start the kids on Monday, (yesterday). I sent him the forms & haven't heard from him since. Your thoughts on taking him as a client at this point..., if he does call back. Please & thank you!!!!

If he called very soon,I would take him back. I have had that happen a couple of times but both times they just had something come up and started soon after. I have called them "to make sure everything is okay" though.

When someone interviews and we make arrangements for them to enroll, I require them to come in person to pick up the enrollment packet. This gives me an opportunity to ask if they have any additional questions and to make sure they are clear on my policies.
I would never e-mail things to them. I am sure it is fine to do, just not how I do it. I prefer to have that final face to face so that I can see and hear them confirm their interest in enrolling.
Too many providers e-mail their paperwork off to potential clients to ultimatley never hear anything in return.
Hoping you do hear back from this family. Do you have their phone number or any other contact info besides the e-mail address?Comment
