First Sick Day :(

Super sick with a fever, luckily am off Mondays at the moment but decided to take tomorrow off too since I have gotten worse as the day progressed instead of better LUckily only 1 child scheduled tomorrow, and I know she has alternate care available, but she wasn't happy about me canceling. I feel bad but I can barely keep up with my own child when I am this sick! Wish I was established enough that I could afford a sub

I think about that a lot.., I feel I need a back up plan for the parents if I'm sick.

I never feel bad for taking a sick day when necessary... especially since the majority of illness I do catch is from the kids anyways. As the client of a home daycare, parents needs to be prepared for short notice closures and have their own alternate care... and certainly have no right being mad.
