Well to quote Judge Judy, "that doesn't make sense and if it doesn't make sense it's usually not true". Sounds like a scam to me. Where did they come from? Did they walk up or drive up? Did they say they lived close to you? How did they act when you said you had dogs? Did you tell them you had guns?
