My husband's dad is turning 80 and his health is declining. He wanted the whole family to take a cruise to Alaska, and we've all been talking about it for months. Well, we booked it!!! happyface 16 of us in 6 rooms.
We'll be going July 27th to Aug 3rd. My husband and I actually did this same cruise in 2008, and his parents did it a couple years before that. None of the rest of the family have taken any cruises.
We don't normally take a full week for vacation, so I'm really looking forward to this!!! I'm still taking the same amount of vacation days this year as I always do (8), but 5 of them will be all at the same time. So I'll have to tough it the rest of the year. It'll be worth it!!
