Would This Give You The Willeys?

I have noticed this for awhile but wondering some thoughts from you lovely ladies.

When I have my back to a certain area and am getting on to a child for something (it can be anyone of the 7), they all and I mean all look behind me to a certain spot like there is someone standing there. They even have the expression that someone is there. I always think quickly, did I miss a parent coming in, but when I look no one is there. Its only when I'm standing/sitting in one area of our preschool room too, no other area I'm in.

I just find it odd they all do this, not one or two but all 7!

Very interesting! I've read a lot about how children can see things that we adults can't

I have chills! I once had a child and every time we took a picture of her in a certain area, there was this spot behind her. It could have been the lighting or something, but it gave all of us chills!

It would give me the willeys, yes, but it is something I truly believe in.

Here is a long-winded story along the same lines...I will try to be brief.

My son was about 3 years old, and I was pregnant with my second child. It was about 2 in the morning, and my husband and I heard him talking over the monitor, full on conversation. We listened, chuckling, thinking he was talking in his sleep. Then he says, "Why aren't you talking to me?", then "Are you my new friend?", then "Do you know how to talk? Why are you looking at me like that?"

At this point, we entered his room, thinking some crazy was in there. Nope. Room was empty, and he was looking in the corner of this room. He started describing his new friend. She was really old, didn't talk, smiled a lot, and had crazy white hair.

My husband's grandmother died of complications from a stroke when I was pregnant with him. She lost her ability to talk, but always smiled when we talked about the soon to be born baby. She also had white hair.

The next morning, my m-i-l called to let us know that my husband's grandfather would probably not make it through the night. This is the grandfather that been married to the recently deceased grandmother. He died an hour later.

I am CONVINCED that this visitor was my husband's grandmother, and that she had come to check in on everyone and then welcome her husband back to her.

I would be freaking out. Then I would test it over and over again. If it kept happening I would sell my house and move. I'm the girl who still runs up the stairs at night thinking somethings right behind me, jumps into bed so the monster underneath doesn't grab my feet and covers my feet so nothing attacks them. Of course I know it's silly but um....better safe than sorry right?

You know, my son once told me he saw a man in his room who looked just like his poppy (my dad) except he was fat. My son never got to meet my grandfather (my father's father)...my dad looked just like his father, and my grandfather was a very heavyset man. Creepy!

                    true story...

Before we had kids my cat was acting crazy weird one night. She was sitting on the back of the couch and staring at one wall. Her tail was puffed out like they do before a fight. Nothing, I mean nothing was there! We got out the digital camera & turned it to b & w. Saw some orbs in the photo! When she did finally get up to move, she crossed the back of the couch soooooo slowly and cautiously to exit the room. Creepy!! This was on the anniversary of my Grandfather's death too! I feel this was him checking in on us!

Then my son used to wake up screaming and saying that he doesn't like the dresser man! We had just put a dresser from family in his room. After we moved it out of his room, problem solved!

I just took a video of my youngest last week & orbs were all over the place!! I do think we have something here but, I think it is here to protect us!~

So yes, I do believe kids can see things we can't. That doesn't mean that they just haven't learned to not look at you in a strange way though. My dck's won't look me in the eye for minutes after discipline!

My dd was an infant when grandparents on both sides passed away. When dd started to walk she would walk with her hands up like someone was holding her hands on both sides walking with her. She also would lookup to talk when she would be walking. I truly believe it was both grandparents helping her learn to walk because they couldn't be there physically for her.

I always wonder what her converstations were about with them!

Twice I've had dc kids ask me, "Who is that?" when we've been having morning snack in our kitchen. Two different kids, two different occasions - neither kid was enrolled at the same time so it wasn't as if either had heard the other say something and was just repeating. Both were looking at the same area of the kitchen when they asked the question. When I asked one of them, "What do you see?" he just repeated, "Who is that?" When I said there was no one there, he said, "No, really! Who is that?!" Yeah, it gave me the willeys! My own kids and I have seen/heard things as well ever since we moved into the house we're living in now. My husband never has and he had me thinking we were crazy. The fact that my dc kids seemed to also see someone confirmed for me that maybe we're not quite as crazy as he thinks we are!

I'm a believer. Our last house had a little boy about 5 or 6. We always saw him in the bathroom.

This reminds me of the Kevin Bacon movie Stir of Echoes!! I don't use monitors because of this. Seriously creeps me out to use them. I've heard talking on mine when my son was only a few months old and kept them in the closet since!
