    Table and Chair Heights?

Most of the children I'll have will be 2-5 years of age and I'm just wondering what height of a table do you use? I can just get a wooden one and shorten each leg (I've got a handy-man!) or I can get an adjustable table to move as low as 13 inches. I want to have all the height of chairs to be the same also...do you have any recommendations? Thanks so much! This table and chair set will be used everyday for crafts and possibly lunch/snack time.

Here is a table that we mentioned in an earlier post that shows it's dimensions. I can be set between 15 to 30 inches.

If I get a table that is not adjustable though and need it to work for 2-5 year olds, what should the height be? I'm looking for a personal preference or web sites stating age/height preference. Thanks!

Abigail...when you decide to buy, I just ordered wood table and chairs on clearance from Kaplan. I got 6 chairs and the table for $212, including shipping.

They also have other table sizes available for $50 if you browse their clearance section.

I'm still debating whether I want the wooden one (checked that out last week on their site, good deal!) or if I want the adjustable one they have for $100 just to be safe incase I need 18 or 20 inches, but have not decided on the chair heights. I was thinking 12 inches because they would work with 18 or 20 inch table heights. What do you think? I might need two tables to give 6 kids more room. . I would love a kidney shaped table, but not at those prices. LOL I need to purchase chairs from somewhere else because those wooden ones don't stack and I would love to stack them when I clean the floor everyday.
