Totally OT But It's Driving Me Crazy! Please Help!

DH bought me a new laptop for Christmas happyface

Anyway when I type the letter " i " it would automatically capitalize it for me. Now it doesn't.

    Can anyone help?!

If you are using Microsoft Word or Outlook it is called AutoCorrect and can be turned off.

Here is a link that tells you how to turn it off depending on which program you are using.

Get answers to all of your Microsoft Word questions. Find Word help, how-to articles, training videos, tutorials, and more.

    Hope that helps

Well that's the problem. It USE to correct it. I did the silly thing and added the " i " to the dictionary so now it doesn't correct.

Its a Gateway. I only got it early because it was only sale ::

Can you just delete it from the dictionary?

I wonder if you can do a System Restore and go back to the day before you added the "i" to the dictionary. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/w...system-restore

Isn't it funny that the simplest things can be the most annoying/troublesome?!
