    When Will The Madness End?

We have a hostage standoff now in my area. The street is closed down for at least 1/2 mile if not more. There is a childcare clear on the other side of the mountain (small mountain) that is in lockdown. All business are in lockdown for 1/2 a mile and they are trying to figure out how to get everyone out of the area.

All I did was leave for 1 hour, go to a nearby town for a doctors appt. and come back to this. Amazing!!!!

I hope it ends peacefully for everyone involved. It does feel like the world is going a little crazy these days, doesn't it?

Fashion Mall here in Newport Beach had some idiot that was shooting off a pistol into the air in the parking lot. 50 shots and the mall went into lockdown. Cops came and arrested him.

What is it with people going crazy these days? Is it that some believe the Mayans & think the world will end this week anyway? I hope it all ended well.

I truly wish all the schools in the country would close for this week and for Christmas break. Too much craziness. We all need a chance to regroup, come up with better, safer strategies, and take stock in what matters.

I hate the world my children are growing up in. Something has to change, and it has to happen fast. I only wish I knew what that something was. Prayers for you!

There have been mentally unstable people since the beginning of time. Violence, since the beginning of time. Mentally unstable people creating violence, since the beginning of time. The only thing that's changed is the media and how these stories are delivered to the general public.

My daughter's school was in lockdown in November because there were 'shots fired.' That's all I knew. I was crying and panicking. It turned out someone committed suicide. But the fear I had was so intense. The minute I found out about Sandy Hook, I couldn't stop crying. My heart is just broken for the families!
