A Thank You for Referral?

DCM just mentioned she has a friend who needs daycare starting after the 1st and asked for paperwork.

Do you offer anything to DCP when they refer a family who enrolls full time?

If I did give a thank you for referrals, then I would give them a day free of care... I know banks will give you a 25 dollar referral thank you.. so if you charge more than that.. give a 25 dollar credit to the dc bill.

But only if the referred signed on and then after the trial period would the credit be given..

but this is just how I would do it.

I give a $50 credit after the 2 week trial period is over.

I think I would wait until after the trial period also as a pp'er said. Who knows, the kid(s) might not be a good fit!? I think a gift card to somewhere would be nice, or a free day of care.

I give my families who refer others a credit equal to a free day of care. I will not apply this credit however, until newly enrolled family has been here for 6 months.

After the new family two week trial period is up, I give the family who referred them a free day.

I give a one time $25 credit after the family has been with me at least 3 months.

After the 4 week trial period I give the referral family half off a week of childcare (2.5 free days). Getting a word of mouth referral is the best thing in my book.

If the referral actually enrolls with all paperwork and deposit then that parent that referred gets 4 hours free on a weekend or evening (2week advance notice required)
