What I thought was funny was that I helped out with her letter earlier and she used the whole rate x 52 weeks / 12 months in her letter to explain this whole thing to her parents. It was very clear btw ... and they are now complaining and confused

Leave the word "month" out of it as it is obviously what is thowing everyone off.

I would say I charge by the week and parents are expected to pay me in 5 week intervals or 4 week intervals.

Why even mess with monthly when it really isn't monthly at all....kwim?
No, she is going to be billing monthly now. No weeks involved anymore.

I want to be paid monthly as I am now and not want to always sit count the pay dates in the month. Plus I don't want weekly payments becuase I drive a boat and get 11 miles to the gallon, so don't want to have to go to the bank weekly.......

Then just bill in 4 week intervals, regardless of what month those dates fall in.

I think the monthly payments but weekly rates is really confusing so I can see where the parents are coming from.

But in my own defense, I am NOT a math whiz and still use a calculator to add anything with more than 2 numbers. My calculator of choice is made by Playskool.

I am not going off of weeks. I used this formula to figure the monthly cost.
