how does this sound?

I do about 2-3 field trips a week and now have the issue of some of them not suitable for all ages or that I don't have enough room for transporting.

I have come up with this wording to add to my policy, what do you think...What changes would you make??



Field Trips: I always do my best to schedule field trips that are appropriate for all ages. However, there will be trips planned as part of our lessons that will not be suitable for all ages. Should a field trip be scheduled that all kids cannot attend, they will be left in care with Ron and the assistant. I will make sure that another field trip is planned so that everyone can join in.

Our educational trips are based on the current interests and developmental levles of the children. Some of these outings may not be suitable for all age groups. Therefore, should a field trip be planned that is not appropriate for a specific age group, that group will be left in the care of Ron and (assistant's name).
In an effort to be considerate of all of the children, additional outings will be planned so that all children enrolled have equal opportunity to participate in these special outings. You will be provided with advance notice of all trips. Should you choose to not allow your child to attend, or would prefer that your child is not left in the care of Ron or _______, please make other arrangements for care for those days.
