First day back from surgery and.............

DCD shows up with my monthly payment $200.00 short cause I didnt have the kids last week.

DCG (new) Is a no show, no call, nothing. Have left a message and called numerous times. No Monthly payment either.

DCG (just turned 2) is in panties. 20 min later she pees on my floor. No change of panties, just clothes. Mom says she has been good all week for potty training. Really?? I dont see it.

I need a different job.

I had a day like that a few weeks ago.

DCB returned after illness, had diarrhea so sent him home... Mom wasn't happy.

My recently potty trained child came in a diaper because "she wanted to wear one".

DCM was angry because I had fed her 10 month old puffs.

I could have walked away from the daycare at that moment. Just remember its only a day. A bad day, doesn't equal a bad life.

Sorry about all the issues. Hopefully tomorrow will be "normal", well as good as normal at a daycare can be anyway

time to get everyone inline. same thing as when my kids go to grandmas....they all come back thinking some thing has magically changed at my house and the rules are different. its amazing how some parents are just like the kids, maybe worse.

*hugs* I'm sorry that you had a very rough first day back - especially after an emergency surgery!

Did you use paid sick days for last week? I hope you had some!

When parents show up with kids in just undies (even though it's stated right in my handbook to never do this) - I tell the parents that I need to see the child make some efforts at potty training here first - and they need to remain in a dipe or be in plastic pants in the meantime. Put your foot down!
