Question for those who listen to Pandora or similiar

There was a thread recently about listening to music, and many said they listened to Pandora all day. I want to do the same, but the technology has me stuck.

I have a Nexus tablet with Pandora. I just can't figure out how to make the sound loud enough for us to hear in the room. Do you hook it up to a speaker of some sort? I found some speakers on amazon, but they run on batteries, and somehow, I suspect that running it 9 hours a day is going to wear out batteries pretty quick.

My sister uses her ipod with Pandora, and she has a docking station with speakers. It plugs into the wall and also charges it. Maybe they have something like that?

I have a docking station as well.

I have an internet radio. My mom got it for me for Christmas last year and I really love it! We use it everyday! The only downside is that our wifi is sometimes hiccupy and I have to reset the radio on occasion as a result.

I just started using Pandora on my phone. Can you set up a playlist or do you have to pay extra for that?

I use my desktop computer. It's in the family room and has good speakers. Or if we're upstairs I use the laptop.

My blue ray playe pulls pandora YouTube, Netflix, it's hooked to my surround sound.
