I charge $140 a week for one child, no discounts, no pickups after 530. I have plenty of people rate shopping and I just say, sorry, my rates are not negotiable. but there are a lot of people willing to work for less, at least for a little while....newbies, people who dont know what fair rates are, people who will ditch the families after a few months when they get some bill paid off or whatever. its usually not a good situation when you find someone willing to work for so little but occasionally there are exceptions.
