New Years Eve and Day! Open? Closed?

I am closed on the 1st, paid, and am trying to close on the 31st also, but one family says they might need me...so I'm going to have to ask them about that again today! :confused: I'm hoping I can at least have an early day. It was my fault on that one tho, since I didn't add that one day into the holiday letter this year. Even if I am closed the 31st, it is not paid.

Both are paid holidays. I am closing down my daycare on Dec 19th this year, but if I weren't, ... I would have my last day be Dec 21st and re-open Wednesday, Jan 2nd. All paid holidays.

My DD's birthday is New Year's Eve so I always take it off paid as well as New Year's Day. No way am I going to stay up late then have to wake up at 5 for daycare the next morning!
