Is anyone having Santa come to their daycare?

I met a guy who looked exactly like the perfect Santa at my CPR/FIRST AID renewal a month ago. I offered to pay him to come and said I would rent the suit but he declined. He was so grumpy it was hilarious. His wife ran a daycare and he was her helper. I called him grumpy Santa the whole class. I would love to do it but have no idea where to get a Santa this late in the game.

Yes I have a guy who does it every year, however, Last year he was sick I went onto Craig's list and it took me 4 days to find one-

Long story short he cancelled on me 3 days before. Stupid me goes back to Craig's list and hires another one . I tell them all about how I got dumpped on by the other Santa and tell him I'm really really counting on him to be here I also paid a 25 dollar deposit.

Guess what? The night before, cancels. Tells me he is over booked!!!!
Lucky for me I have a really sweet puffy ffriend who caught wind of the huge issue and we rented him a costume. I was crying in tears before my friend offered because I did not know how I was going to face 10 little sweet faces to tell them Santa is not coming.

It was the biggest mess ever. I never thought it would be so difficult to hire a Santa. In the end I learned that Santa is super unreliable in my area.

My original Santa is booked again this year I just hope he stays healthy.

This is funny because we have a suit in the basement for ds school(hubby is going to be) & I was wondering if it would be wrong to borrow it real quick one day...

How could he disappoint little kids. I would not tell them Santa was coming & just do a surprise visit. I would still tell the parents in case they wanted to come.
