I am debating on whether or not to make/purchase business cards for my in home daycare. I figured I could give them to family members or friends and they could give them to people who may be interested in bringing their children to my daycare program. Has anyone used them or are they worth making/purchasing?

I've gone through hundreds of cards in my career.
I attach them to new folder enrollments so parents can keep them in their wallets, I attach them to magnets and give them to parents to keep on their fridge's, I hand them out at community events, I keep them in my wallet to whip out any time someone mentions child care services, I leave them in local business offices etc etc....
Business cards for me are a MUST have!

I also love my business cards! I keep them in all my purses/pockets/strollers to pass out. I drop them in 'business card' draws at local restaurants. I give them to my parents so they have my number accessible if their cell phones die and they need my number. I love them!

I agree that business cards are a must-have. I keep them on me at all times. When the kids and I are on a walk or at the park and someone inquires about my daycare I hand them a card. I go to one of hubby's work functions (he has 300+ coworkers and I see one who is pregnant or one asks "How the daycare?" I hand over a business card! I am at the grocery store and see a happy family with some young children - "Hey, I run a quality home childcare just down the street from here - if you're looking for care or know someone who is, here's my info!" and hand them a card
I give out business cards in Halloween goodie bags, leave them at my local schools and libraries, etc. I even give some to parents to give to their friends and family!Comment

Vistaprint is awesome. Great prices and they always have sales etc. too. I just got a bunch of stuff from them for FREE!!!! Yard sign, address labels, a pen, magnet for the car......all I paid was shipping.
I get all my business cards from them and I hand them out everywhere I go.Comment
