First "REAL" Daycare Day

Had two siblings start today. So today was my first official day of running my daycare. Everything went pretty great. They sat down & ate blueberry waffles, yogurt, & milk right after arrival. They played nice with my son & the other dck. They napped like champs on their cots in the middle of the living room! Only bad thing...no one(including my own kids) ate the meatloaf muffins I made from a new recipe for lunch! Overall I feel happyfacehappyfacehappyface. I love my new life & am so glad I got the support to go ahead & quit my job so I could stay home to do this!!

That is great!!! I know what you are talking about. I left my job Nov 9th . I have been working on my home daycare for about four months. I finally had my second inspection, now just waiting for my license. I had my first child start yesterday too!! He cried for a second then took my hand. My son and him played really good together. We had circle time, art, music time and played outside they had fun.
