Queen of Clean! Somehow I manage to keep the house really tidy and organized (okay, minus the playroom during DC hours) throughout the week and weekend with pretty minimal effort despite having two adults, six kiddos and several pets living here on a regular basis.

Vomit Catcher... Yeah, DS has been sick and I've been vomitted ON about a half dozen times in the last 48 hours. Oh yeah, and now I'M sick too and vomitting! Ugh, what a way to ruin my 4 days weekend. :P Luckily, I think we're both okay now, it seems to have passed quickly...

Of course, only AFTER DS dripped diarhea ALL the way from the living room, down the hall, into the playroom, and over to me at the computer....

If I am correct, you do not have your own children yet? Trust me whe I say it is a lot harder to keep things extremely tidy with a little one that lives there everyday! My house used to be immaculate prior to my kids! But, they are worth it in every way!! I hope you are able to keep it up! A tidy house is a happy house here!!

I have to respectfully disagree We had multiple young children living with us full-time for over a year and our house was the same as it is now. I also grew up in a home that was very tidy and organized, which is probably where my habits came from! Also, my husband is a huge help, which I find quite a few ladies unfortuntely don't have.

Lucky you! Maybe I have just become bumbarded with the toys noone uses anymore(dh sister has boys too) & they all give them to us! And my son is a bit messy! Plus, until one month ago I worked full time & my husband was working full time & part time on his weekends off, which meant just me with the kids on my only 2 days to get stuff done...fast forward to now...house is much tidier since I have been home & mama is much less *****y!!::

Yes, it helps minimizing clutter!! ALOT! I have a family member with three young children and every inch of her house is covered in toys, kid books, kid clothes, etc. It's ridiculous. When our child is older (yes, we're only having one) they will have a reasonable amount of toys and once it gets to be too much they will choose what to donate (hubby and I do this with every room in the house several times a year). We also don't celebrate gifting holidays in a traditional way so this will definitely help with the inevitable accumulation of toys so many parents are faced with!
With my luck I will end up with a messy kiddo, !
