Is there anything that can be cut from your monthly budget that will allow for being able to quit your weekend job?

Is there anything you can ask your wife to do for you that would make your evenings/weekend time at home more relaxing and restful so you feel more prepared for working 2 jobs?

Thinking of you, hang in there!

I worked a part time job a few nights a week and weekends for my first 4 years running my daycare. It was hard but my husband was a great help with the kids at home. For me it helped to look at it as my time away with other adults instead of "I have to do this for the money". Attitude is everything for me!

I also found the Dave Ramsey Total Money Makeover during those years and what a difference it made on my outlook on my extra job AND my budget. Are you familiar with his system? Can you look into his Financial Peace classes?? It helps when you are working towards a goal and not feel like you are on that hamster wheel going nowhere.

You do not want to give it up because it will be hard to find another one. But can you take a weekend off.Maybe that will help

Many, many hugs. Is it possible for your wife to take a part-time job?

As a fellow believer I would ask what has He told you regarding the situation? I'm sure you've asked? There was a time I had been working 2-3 nights a week a couple years ago while running daycare, and even tho I thought I couldn't afford not to, I ended up getting fired (for being sick a lot from working so much). Turns out I could afford not to work the 2nd job, with careful budgeting. Business grew after.

While working the 2 jobs, it helped a lot to just remind myself that it was temporary (however long that may be).

You've got the greatest strength keeping you going. You can do it! And you've got the greatest source of wisdom to go to.

Always remember your family when you work and you can surely be motivated.
