    When Interviewing Parents....What to do?

I am new to the business and I'm conducting a second interview for one family tomorrow. I already interviewed the mom and things went well. She came on her lunch break and didn't have DCG with her. I really like her so far. Tomorrow she is bringing DCG and her husband to met my family.

During my interviews I usually chit chat, briefly go over the handbook/contract, and then do a tour of the daycare areas. We usually chat some more and then they leave. I want each family to understand and review the contract and handbook a second time. I also want them to look at another daycare as well. I just want to make sure each family will be a good fit, that we get along, and communicate well. I don't want to take a family because I'm new to the business. I don't want to come off as desperate either. I'm fortunate bc all DC income is 100% profit. Dh has a great job that covers all the bills. But we need to save to buy a bigger home and there's always something that needs fixin!!

What do you do during your interviews? Am I doing something wrong??
