Do You Let DCK Use Your Tablets?

If so, what kind of protective cover do you use? I'm mostly concerned about drops although I will have a strict "sit on the floor" policy. I don't have many shopping options here, and I'm getting confused trying to pick one online. My dck is almost 2.5.

Also, I'd love suggestions for good Android apps for kids, daycare, and well, anything else.

I don't let my dck's near my ipad!!!! But I saw the iGuy case in Target the other day and thought it was so funny looking I wanted it, LOL!! M-Edge also makes a big fat rubbery kind.

I've started taking my ipad out more so am considering replacing the smart cover with an otterbox case.

My own son plays ours during non daycare hours. We sit near and play the games (educational) together.

My DCK are not allowed. We are too busy and one 3 yr old I had is obsessed with Angry Birds so much so that he cried everyday at drop off b/c he didnt get to play long enough in the car. They are now someone elses problem happyface

Darn, I didn't expect so many no's! I can't justify buying one for any reason except the day care girl. I just have 2 dcks right now, and only one old enough to benefit. I was planning on books and educational apps like her mom uses.

I want a tablet, but now I need an excuse to spend the money.

Oh, and since I posted this, I have done some exploring and found what looks like a great way to protect it for those whose grandkids use them.

They look like a pretty good way to protect them--even from myself!

No. We mostly use ours as a timesheet, to be honest. ::

But, Fisher Price does make an iPad case just like they make an iPod touch case.

                    Tablet. What is that?

sorry, I had to b a smartalic. I actually don't own one, still have an older flip phone with no internet, but if I did, no way would my kiddos be touching it.
