How Do You Keep DCK Under Control.....

when you have other adults at your home?

I am eagerly expecting my food specialist anytime this morning and I know the DCK's will be COMPLETELY OUT OF CONTROL while she is her.

I know this is normal, but what is the trick to get them to behave while other adults are here???

I have tried to have activities planned for them, but it never ever works.

I have used brand-new batches of playdough to great effect.

    or watercolor painting.

Or the full collection of something that we haven't had out for awhile.
Hee hee! Look, I have a signature!

      What Silver said....

Even still, there's likely to be a squabble over who has what color play doh, etc . Kids always always always will act out in front of other adults, and cry or scream if you are on the phone.

Bingo markers work well for me. They ONLY get them during inspections, and they KNOW it. I cover the table with thick paper and let them have at it.
