    What are these called?

Is there a name for the type of children's board book that contains pictures of real people? My kids LOVE these books right now and I only have two. Here's a link to what I'm talking about, we have this book and one called My Family by the same person.

Doing what I love and loving what I do.

No idea if they have a specific name.

My older ds has autism and we use social stories for EVERYTHING now. They are soooo easy for me to make, print (pop in real pictures) and laminate when the littles are having trouble with a routine or transition. I have one little who has been toting his around for 3 months (I titled it "what comes next") and goes "Little John arrives at daycare and is ready for the day! (picture of him coming in with Mom) He washes hands and finds his seat at the table, time for breakfast! (picture of him eating breakfast) etc etc... He now will flip the pages and say "four more pages until Mommy comes!"

I'm not sure if that style has a name or not. Maybe google realistic photo books for kids? Not sure.

I have a couple "baby faces" board books by Roberta Grobel Intrater that are all photos of real babies and my kids all like them.
