so I am finally going to bite the bullet and term my problem part time family. there were multiple issues but the main ones being that mom complains about everything, the little girls personality does not click with mine at all, mom is a very poor communicator as far as scheduling days and dropoff times.
BUT I do have a different reason for ultimately terming. One of my other part timers has agreed to go to full time after my maternity leave and I no longer have the space to keep this other part timers. I am regulated to 4 kids at a time only and keeping everyone puts me over ratio. I actually have one other part time family which I have decided to keep because even though I make a bit less money on them, they are WAY less drama and that part timer gets along fairly well with me and my kids. Its just a better fit personality wise. So my problem family will be term due to ratio issues and seniority issues (whoever is here longest, gets to stay if I have to downsize....thats not in my contract, just how I have decided to do things)
I would love some help with a term letter and brief explanation. I normally dont explain too much but this mom is drama and I am hoping that when she sees it is an uncontrollable circumstance that is not negotiable, that she will just move on, even if she is upset. There will be no notice given because for the next few weeks, she was with my back provider anyway (for maternity leave thru the end of Nov) and will have that care lined up in order to look for new permanent daycare. On a side note, drama mom has been incredibly rude to the backup provider as well. She does pay her bill but she is always complaining about something.
I have no desire to be completely honest with all the reasons for terming. I know now that this is just how mom is and me pointing out particulars will just be bad for me, you know? I am bracing for a call to CPS or something else if she gets upset with this enough to try something. Seriously, the crazy has slowly been let out over the past few months and I am nervous now because she is unpredictable. She will ignore communication at random and then the next few days, fire off a dozen emails and texts about something really random.
