    3 days

    at grandparents!

If you don't hear from me next week its because I'm having to undo all behavior coming from staying at grandparents for 3 days.

The parents already know child has major issue when returning to the real world after staying with them. We are including major, major aggression and total uncontrollable behavior. Climbing bookshelves, running through entire house, spitting, hitting, laughing uncontrollably just to do it, etc.

I'm already dreading Tuesday and we haven't even 9;00!

My son too gets like that after spending the weekend at his grandparents. My mom lets him do anything he wants. Like change his clothes on the kitchen table "I like butts on tables" as my son would say every time. Gross right!? I have learned that he is so naughty partly because he is so tired. I make him take a nap when he gets home and also go to bed early that night. But yes it takes 3 whole days to get my child back on track with my expectations. It is really more stress added then it takes away....

Its only about 1-3 times a year but I can always, always tell when its been a visit weekend.

The grandparents are very strict so I don't understand this behavior when they come back-

That almost says red flag to me...almost. I don't know. Maybe it's just a reaction to a disruption of the routine, but the aggression and uncontrollable behavior almost tickles an alarm.
Hee hee! Look, I have a signature!
