    need a fun toddler activity

I'm having an observer that I'd like to impress just a wee bit, and I need a fun new toddler activity that can be done at the table while she's here.

Who's got a great idea that is FCCER friendly, if possible?

I've done baking soda in a tray then using droppers/teaspoons let then drip colored vinegar on it. Science & art. They can see what colour blends make new colors, see a safe chemical reaction then at the end they can draw/write in it with forks/chopsticks/straws etc. My kids 2.5-4 really liked it.

My 5 yo grandson will do this for hours. I give him a tray of baking soda and a small dish of colored vinegar, plus a couple of eye droppers. When he's done with the baking soda, he'll add water to the mix to make an ocean and add all of his sea creatures.
