When he asked "Why didn't you vote this morning?" I would have asked "Why is little Johnny here on your day off?" And smiled. I am so not afraid of calling parents on their BS.

Next time DON'T ASK - TELL! I couldn't imagine asking my parents to pick up early - I tell them "I'm closing at x:xx so please make sure you are here by then. A $5/minute late fee will be in effect."

I fixed the CDC to DCD....wish I could fix the daycare dad's attitude for you too!!!

I have warned all my parents.....you are fully expected to pick up at your normal time. Do NOT go vote and then come get your child. Voting is an educational experience so if your child is older, bring them with you!
