    Explaining Rates on website

I have a website and I put my rates on there so everyone can view them. I have been getting messages regarding them and that they don't understand them.

I think is pretty strait forward.

    Full time
    4+ days a week.

    Infant 6w-12m - $153.00
    Toddler 12m-24m - $143.00
    Preschool 24m-5y - $136.00
    School Age 5y-12y - $123.00
School Age Before and/or After School Only - $75

    Part time
Minimum of 3 days a week fixed days.
Non fixed days will be charged at the full time rate.

    Infant 6w-12m - $108.00
    Toddler 12m-24m - $99.00
    Preschool 24m-5y - $93.00
    School Age 5y-12y - $81.00
School Age Before and/or After School Only - $45

All payments are due the 1st morning of the week prior to care, with no credit for absent or sick days.

Is anyone else having this issue? Should I take them off there and be bombarded with emails regarding rates?

what are the questions being asked? are you sure they are legitimate questions? perhaps it is just people fishing to see if they are negotiable

I'm confused on your SA rates.

Are they for summer rates and also school rates?

What would you charge if you had school age children on just a day off from school-not a full week.

The rest look fine, its just the school age I'm personally not understanding.

Thank you, I didn't even consider the days off or summer.

And i figured out what was the problem. This last person was looking at it from her phone. and it gets really funny because i used columns on the website and phones can't comprehend that.

The only issue I see is confusion over whether my child is an infant 12 month old or a toddler 12 month old?

If I claim they are a toddler 12 months, I get a cheaper rate.... ::

Etc...all the way down. Small thing, but may throw someone off a bit.

I take heat for my Birth - 4 years. Many still ask if I keep 4 year olds. Yes, until they turn 5..... BUT if I put Birth - 5 years, I have some who want to stay until they turn 6 and get their feelings hurt when I can't offer that. IYKWIM....

My husband solved all this for our rating system. Haven't had any issues after this.

We worded it this way: through ....

So Cathearder, you could say Birth through age 4. Birth -childs 5th birthday.

Do you mean state paid clients?

I was talking about how I word it for our contracts,PHB, registration. The state has nothing to do with that for us.

                    6wk - 12 Months
                    13 Months - 24 Months
                    25 months - 60 months
                    School Age

IDK that it will make it any easier . I went to a flat rate, across the boards, just to stop most of the discussion, myself.

IME, There will most likely always be someone who will want to ask a question to have an opportunity to feel you out over discounts.

A chance to talk is a chance to bargain.

                      No. Sorry...

In my State all providers are listed on a website that helps parents find a provider. We must keep it updated. That is where all of my calls (that are not word of mouth) come from.

We really don't need to advertise since it so very well available to parents.

That wouldn't work for me. I do 6w-12m and 12m-24m because I dont want to change the cost at 11m or 13m but up to the day they turn 1 and from that day on they are in the next price bracket. Kwim?

So you could do it this way:

                          6w-Childs 1st birthday
                          1 year old-Childs 2nd Birthday
                          2-Childs 5th birthday

6w up to childs 1st birthday
1 up to childs 2nd birthday
                          2-childs 5th birthday

                            Completely.

That was just where most of my bargainers tended to start from, IYKWIM?

In your shoes I'd just go with what CK said... use the word until or through instead of the dash?
