I sanitize once a week on weekends but because I 1yo's and even a 2yo that still try to mouth toys. If I catch them then I take the toy and put it in a bin to be washed over the weekend but there's no way that I am catching every toy that gets mouthed. I sanitize weekly because I don't like kids sharing mouth germs.

As for dirt ... well that's another matter. I let the DC kids play in the dirt and get dirty as much as they like. I agree with BC post. And even of kids to get sick more when they're younger that just means that their immune system will be that much more active later as older kids and they'll get sick less.

    I lovethis dirt.
