    renew contracts

Hello I am a register user and cant seem to log in:{ I am proud mommy of three. Well as of the first of the year I think im going to raise my rates. I have a soft back bone and need to learm how to use it. Well I need a set income instead of flusterating so I decided with the three part time children and the one that comes everyday but only pays when she is here I need to fix that. I dont want part time kids no more. I am afraid of them leaving but need to do whats best for ,me so I can have full time pay . Does any one have part time kids but pay full time and even when the children arnt in care. I am also thinking of raising mjy rates and again my full time families might leave but I get nothing really for them. 240 for a family that has a nine month olld and three year old I take care of from 730-530 and there school age kid. Is that good pay? any and all help pleasae. did any of you raise the rates and had families leave? Thank you.

I have a family that used to attend 3-4 days per week and pay full-time. But, in the past month or two they began bringing the children 5 days a week most weeks even when they had off work.

I absolutely would charge full-time if you don't want to offer part-time.

I have 2 families that come M-F from 8:00 am-12:00 pm and they pay my full time rate. My full time starts at 20 hours so they are right on the line. Neither of them seem to mind, I've even told them that their child is welcome to stay for lunch and nap and leave at 3:30 when most of my other kids leave (for the same price) but they said they were fine at picking up at noon. I wish they would just pick up at 3:30 because it would be easier on my schedule.
I have another parent that is 7:30 am -3:30 pm who wanted to go part time and come only a couple of days a week because her husband works less in the winter. I told her I didn't have any part time slots available and so they stuck with full time.
All of my families pay for the times they sign up for originally and not just the times they are here. I don't have anyone with a schedule that varies but if I did they would be charged a full time rate.
I don't know if your rates are good for your area. In my area I would charge between $325-$425 for those children. The best thing would be to call around to other providers or contact CCRR and see what average prices are in your area.

I've also never had a family leave because of a rate increase (but I don't do it that often). I've always been scared someone will leave (and sometimes hopeful) but they never have.
