    Pretty Bummed !

So Im losing 2 kids the 17th of this month b/c they are moving. I have 2 that is going on maternity leave with mom, her c-section is th 13th and now the dcm who went behind my back just sent me this
"Just an FYI I'm going to look at another sitter tonight bc of the Monday thing"
Now dcg's grandma isn't going to pick her up and I don't want to work till 8 pm.

So Im going from 9 kids to 4
I don't know what I am going to do..things was going so well and now it seems like it is falling apart. I know 2 kids will be back but that's not till January and I will have the baby then too..but I have a lot of expense's in December and it seems like they are all leaving me before then. I just want to ball up and cry !!

I have been advertising for 2 spots, and no takers...or the one's that show interest want to pay me nothing. Just not my day !

Do you have any policy in place for maternity leave?

If not, I would start one. You shouldnt be out income for kids who will be home due to a parent being on leave.

My rules state that the older sibling can stay home for one week at 50% tuition AFTER new sibling arrives so family can bond. Any time beyond that, the regular tuition is due as I am not the one having a baby and needing to be off work. Sounds funny but it is the family's situation not mine so they need to **** up the cost of the financial situation it creates.

If the infant spot is immediately available, then the family must pay a holding fee to secure the space or I will fill it because again, their situation caused the issue not mine.

I understand but I am also running a business and I can't very well be successful in doing so if I discount or don't charge every time a family has a situation.

We can only have 6 at a time in Ohio, I have 9 enrolled but all different hours/days.

I can't charge them anything due to the being ODJFS assistance. I have a few absent days that I can claim for them. And that will give me part time for the week. So I don't want to kick them out, plus I getting the baby in January.
