So I was called by the director of one of the very welll known preschools here in my town. She asked me if I would like to have my kids join them to christmas carol this year at the FOlks home. (sorry I don't like calling it old folks)
I know this is partly because the folks home is not letting as many kids come in this year.
She told me that I could teach all of my own songs to the kids and that we would preform first. If wanted we could do the final performance with both schools together.
I am so flattered by the directors words about my DC. In fact, in the last 3 years, she has sent me many kids that were not a good fit for their program, that enrolled into mine.
What would you guys do? Would you take her up on her offer? If I do, I am worried that my kids will do what they did the last time we tried to do a show for others. The last time we did a recital, 12 out of the 15 kids all freaked out and ran to their parents screaming and crying. Only 3 kids actually preformed.
