EVERY week when Dad brings his children he arrives 5 minutes before we open to the general public.
We offer Early Day Care for the families who need it (free of charge) but it is prearranged and they must arrive during a 25 minute time span. After that, we will not open the door again until 8:00am. THIS is not one of those families.

We have put out notice after notice about arriving early. If you arrive before 8, stay in your car. But, no. They knock. Then 1 minute later will ring the bell. Then 1 minute later will knock again.

WE HEAR YOU! We just don't care!

Fortunately I don't have this problem, but if I did I would be the same way especially when they don't get the point!

Our business hours are even posted RIGHT NEXT TO THE DOOR! We open at 8:00. Not at 7:50 (which is when we are placing the breakfast dishes and cups on the tables). I have your children for 9 hours, I don't want to have them for 9 hours and 10 minutes. Thankyouverymuch.

Or a covered sidewalk with a door that leads from the house to the street. Then I could lock that very distant door and not have to worry about hearing the ruckus. I'm not sure that my HOA would approve of that, though.
