    How do you disinfectant wooden toys?

    You can wipe them gently and place them in sunlight, actually a great disinfectant, but I don't think that is an approved method. ::

    I just put them all on a towel (when kids are not around) and spray with Lysol spray disinfectant. You don't want them wet, just lightly sprayed, let dry.

      I wash wooden toys in hot soapy water, rinse in bleach water and let set for 2 minutes then dry with a towel. Just do not let them soak for a long time and they'll be fine. I've been doing this for years and no problems what-so-ever.

      If the toy has a finish on it it probably is water resistant and if no finish the moisture, for the short amount of time it is exposed, will probably be good for the wood and give it much needed moisture. Kinda like your furniture needs humidity to not dry out and crack, kwim?
