Why is it ok for me to work for LESS than minimum wage when it's not ok for someone who works at, let's say, McDonald's?? I would think the love & care your child receives at daycare would be more important than flipping burgers. I'm just sayin'...

No offense to any daycare providers/parents either...someone just really burned my biscuits this morning asking about my rates. ($5 an hour is "way out of my price range" & "that's just not affordable"...REALLY?? WOW
) If you can't afford it, that's fine, I understand & I will help in any way possible (I even offered a discount!), but don't be nasty about it.
