    The papers she had in her hand were folded.. but open enough that I caught a glimpse of part of them.. they are obviously court documents...but they were pretty ratty looking.. so more than likely the original papers from when she and her ex split up...
    BUT he could have new... just a few days old papers...and from my understanding.. he does...
    this is the info the provider gave over phone...that the dad just got custody a few days ago...
    Obviously I didn't need to look at or examine the papers because I don't have her child in my daycare...

      This story just gets stranger and stranger.

      And she actually told you that somebody is lying to her. That makes me wonder how desperate she really is. If she did have custody of her son and CPS was involved it's obvious that CPS knows where her son goes to daycare therefore so would she. CPS wouldn't allow an abducted child to remain at daycare, they would have removed the child and returned the child to the custodial parent. I have to agree that if she were to have found her sons daycare and seen him she would have probably tried to flee with him. I know that the system sometimes fails people but she's only making things worse for herself by going about it the wrong way if she's actually a great mom. If her son was taken from her through dishonesty she is only going to make things tougher on herself going about things this way ...

        If CPS is involved something is going on. They coud have removed the child from her care and placed him with dad. It could be temporary and she is digging a hole she may never get out of.
        It:: will wait

          The reality is sometimes a parent truly cannot parent a child and the child is better off without that parent. Not saying that is the case here though, because none of us have any clue.
          Exactly this.

          I just finalized our teen's adoption this week (not biologically related to us). It was a long journey to get where we are now and I am so happy there will not be visitation with his first mother any longer.

          We did not get our son through CPS, though.
