Daycare toddler throws Hideous fit (it's not a normal scream..it's the kind that makes you want to yell "shut up" at him) EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. someone says ANYTHING negative to him. "Stop", "no", "Put that on the table" "Close the trash can".... ANYTHING.
Plus, the entire time I am making lunch or snack, he's screaming because "We always pass him bites as we cook".
His three year old brother is nearly as bad. He's been wearing pajamas every day for six months because he doesn't want to change his clothes.
But, the toddler's scream is honestly the worst sound i've heard in a very long time, and I am almost to my breaking point. By Friday, I think "Either I need to drop this family, or he had better outgrow this". But, I don't think he's ever going to outgrow it.
I can actually see his dad being the same way, minus the screaming fits. Dad is pretty babied at home, so Maybe the kids are raised the same way, or inherited his weakness for everything.
Either way, I feel like I'm losing my mind.
Oh..and Dad lets them sleep as long as they want in the morning, and every day, dad says "They don't need a nap today" and every day I say "Well, they don't get a choice...they can lay down quietly". But, dad hopes they don't sleep so they will go to sleep at the end of the day. He's always super excited when they fall asleep on the way home... he posts about it on facebook. "High fiving myself today because the boys are already in bed". (no dinner)
