Took Our First Field Trip

And boy am I pooped!!! Wow... I'm not sure fun is the word to describe it. dcd came and dcg acted a fool and he let her run off and chased after her. Then I had to be stern and I think the kids had fun... Who would have thought taking 4 kids on a trip would be such hard work::!!!!

But we each bought a pumpkin and they get to paint them on Friday. Not sure we will take another trip again sooon. It wasn't sooo bad, but the children were 1,2,3 yrs old and 4 mnths. A double stroller would have helped immesnly and I will definitely be getting one in the very near future

Yeah, for you. I think it's important for the kids to get out once in awhile. Next time, do not allow someone to go that can't control their own child. That just adds to your workload.

Yay! I had a dcd come once and never again. I ended up asking him to just go to the building with his child to wait for us because he was letting his "group" (3 kids) run around like monkeys and not watching them. I had better luck with all 7 by myself
