    Fall Festival / Halloween Party?

How many of you all are doing something for fall or halloween? I would love to do a little festival or party, but I do have some littles. I was thinking if we had it over lunch maybe parents that pick up early can hang around a bit and families that drop off later can come a little early. But I have no ideas what to do. I can rent a cotton candy machine for about $30 but not looking to spending that much. I also can get a bean bag toss, and we can do pumpkin painting since we are all going to the pumpkin patch a few days before.

Any other ideas or should i just have a little halloween craft and party for the children and be done with it? My oldest is 3 and then I have a 2 yr old, 1yr old and some infants.

I'm not doing an actual party just because there's a lot going on in school and the community so I think adding another event will kind of numb it up a bit for my crew. We'll celebrate Halloween just as a theme. Halloween crafts, open face jack-o-lantern grilled cheese sandwiches (cut jack-o-lantern shapes out of orange cheddar), pumpkin bread for snack, etc. They're welcome to wear their costumes following afternoon nap.

I am thinking about maybe giving out Halloween goody bags as they leave...glow sticks, spider rings, pencil, etc ...NO candy!!!

I'm not doing a whole lot either as my kids are very young. They love to play with the mr. potato heads here, so I thought I would drill some holes in real pumpkins and let them put the pieces in. I usually find the ghosts with tootsie pop ****ers wrapped up like ghosts. Kinda like an easter egg hunt only with ghosts.
