Assigned Seating For Lunch In Schools

Wow, two of my own kiddos have come home and told me they now have to have assigned seats during lunch because the lunch monitors can't keep the kids settled down and its so loud!

This is the whole elementary school and middle school. So after my issue yesterday it really sounds like this is just kids today (maybe). I think they really, really just don't respect an adult and what they say.

This is where we come in.

Children in today's society are more disrespectful than kids of previous generations.

However, they weren't born that way. They are taught to do it, allowed to do it and reinforced for doing it.

We (child care providers) have the power to change that!

We get them while they are young and impressionable. Choose to make a difference. Choose to teach them the value of listening and being respectful.

Choose to teach them manners and proper social behaviors.

We really do make a difference.
