    Deeeeeep Breaths!

I love my job. I do. I am one of those life-ers. I like all of my kids. I downright ADORE some of them. Today, all of them were 'off', for one reason or another. 1 having a rough day? par for the course. 2? Ok, I can handle this. 3? That's going to make my day difficult. BUT ALL 6? Gooooodnesss!

Screaming if you looked at her.
Screaming if you talked to him.
Screaming because the blueberries were gone and blackberries are GA-ROSS!
Screaming because HE TOUCHED MY CHAIR!
Screaming because IT IS NOT WEDNESDAY IT IS DOMINGO!
Screaming because I WILL NOT GO POTTY I WILL STAND HERE AND SCREAM AT YOU AND PEE MY PANTS!
Screaming because I WANT MY MOM, NOW (and won't see Mom until Saturday)

My head hurts, and right as I sat down after getting all my screamers to nap, doing dishes and cleaning up the monstrous mess. Yep, one started screaming.

I hope everyone else is having a better day than I (and my littles!) are having!

Thank you guys for the post! Some times I wonder if it's me? Today we went to the pumpkin patch and it was raining at first. I thought every child in the van was going to have a melt down if we had to leave! I thought to myself, "why do you even try to do these outings. The kids don't even appreciate it and it's waaaay too much work." But then, the sun came out and everyone had a good time. Flash forward to rest time and two of my normally good resters were crying loudly because they just weren't tired! OMG! Just go to sleep! think happy thoughts...think happy thoughts.....

Ugh.....I feel the pain.....my kids are way "off" today. One has cried ALL day and the others are running and yelling and fighting over every toy available. Nap time could not come soon enough. At least they are waking up in a better mood! Hope your day gets better!

Ugh, I'm sorry about your day! My children are sick and have been for a week now. It started with one dck and managed to spread to everyone but one dck. 5 of the 6 kids got it, me and my dh and one of the other parents. Well, my kids don't seem to be improving at all and their moods are horrendous. Finally, today my younger dd breaks out in hives everywhere so I take her in, only to find out she has strep throat . No wonder my throat has been on fire all week! Now I have to take my other daughter and myself in to the doctor to see if we also have it.

What the heck was up with the day today? Sounds like it was going around!! I had two who screamed all day long, one who refused to follow any of our basic rules and refused to clean up at clean up time, no one would eat, no one would sleep, and then when the big kids showed up they all decided that my home was their home and they would jump on furniture and run around my house crazy while I talked to a daycare parent who was picking up. Ugh. this day couldn't have gotten over fast enough.

Very similar to my day with 10. Although, they weren't screaming so much as they were WHIIIIIIIIIINING and not keeping their hands to themself.

I think my preschoolers were trying to out naughty each other all day. They were definitely feeding off each other and surpassing the misbehavior.

And why oh why can they not leave their hands off each other?
