    TP Issues...

Is there a such thing as C fold toilet paper...kinda like the C fold paper towels? If not, I am going to invent them! I am going through way too much toilet paper here! (I swear one of the girls usues half a roll each time she goes!)

What do you do when you have a child that uses WAY too much TP?

    Offer 2 tissues instead?
I use Scott's. The old fashioned kind that is real thin and a roll lasts a week.

I take it off for them and hand it to them while they are going. We have cut down tremendous use of tp.

I was also thinking of buying tissues and telling them they can pull out 3 sheets and use that.

I teach my kiddos that they are allowed to use a specific amount of squares per age.

Helps with over use for sure. Sometimes they will need a bit less or a bit more and that is ok but if I notice the paper being over used or wasted, we sit down together as a group and have that discussion again about "how much is enough".

I do think they make "c" fold toilet paper though

LOL!! :: looking on-line for such a thing brought up this site! http://www.origami-resource-center.c...r-origami.html which is too funny!!! Can you imagine if we sent the kids home with art project made from toilet paper?!!? ::::

I have a dad who used to bring his daughter every morning and would use like 1/2 a roll! He would poke his head out and tell me I am out of TP when I knew there was at least 1/2 roll!

I tell kids they have a tiny hiny and they only need a tiny bit. Not that this helps any.

For the younger kids I hand them the appropriate amount (set it next to the potty on the counter). I do the same for handwashing as going through 2 rolls of paper towels a day was RIDICULOUS. For the SA kids, I honestly just hope that they wipe to begin with. DCG NEVER wipes (or flushes). YUCK!

I put a small piece of painters tape (I love that stuff!) on the wall under the toilet paper. When they reach the tape, they know they have plenty of paper

I have two Dora stickers on the wall and they can roll it til they reach Dora and then stop.

I use Scott's for the same reason. I only use it in the basement bathroom though as my family hates it but it seriously lasts forever!

I love the idea of putting a line of tape or sticker or something on the wall and you can pull it to there. Need that in the family bathroom for my husband
