I have a regular coat closet inside my front door, which has a high (Adult) bar with coat hangers for coats. I"m thinking of using 3m hooks (or something similar) and sticking them inside the closet wall for the kids. It would free up a lot of wall space in my daycare room, where I have 6 hooks on the wall. Anyone ever done/seen this?

Before my DH built my cubbies, I used the coat closet in my entry way for the kids.
The bar was also too high for them to reach so hubs put several coat hooks on a 2x4 and secured that to the wall at a height the kids could reach.
They sell pre-made, finished boards with coat hooks on them that would also work well.
