Hi I am waiting to be licensed, don't have long though, but according to my state guidelines I cannot advertise my daycare. My question is how can I let people know that I am opening up a home daycare without flyers, business cards, etc. which is considered advertising?

Are you in Alabama? I can't see why you can't let people know that you are applying for a license and will be taking clients afterwards. Might be some suggestions here: https://www.daycare.com/forum/tags.php?tag=advertising
