I don't do FB but I absolutely check their names out on the court/criminal history look up site

It's the first thing I do after someone contacts me about a spot. My husband will even look them up too for me.

Yep, I facebook stalk too. It's not very fair though, my facebook page is unsearchable.

Though Blackcat, looking them up on the criminal history database is a good idea too.

I do this too. I google their name, email address and phone number to find out everything I can before they even come to my house for an interview.

I am so glad I am not the only one that does this. I really thought I was alone in this too. Just last week I received one email, and one phone call (they left a message), and I googled them both before replying and found both of them had current ads on Craigslist for their daycares.

Saved me the trouble of setting up interviews or going through my program with them over the phone when I knew they were not looking for daycare.

Yep, every single person, and I get nervous when I can't find them on FB. It's fun to try to figure it out. I FB search the name and then look at any pics or wall posts or anything I can that is viewable to public and usually they have a picture of their kid with them as their profile and then I say oh yes that looks like the 18month old, for example, must be them! And then I copy/paste the pic and email it to my mom (business partner) and say this person is coming for interview!
