    I'm At My Wits End

so I have dcb who is 18months old. I have no idea what happened this weekend (he didn't come on friday and yesterday was thanksg. so I was closed) he is throwing himself out of the playpen, and I'm mean I have never ever seen anything like this. He won't nap and all he does is scream all day. And no I'm not sitting with him. And no I can't put him on a mat because he just doesn't sleep. He's now hysterical (oh wait he's like this all day) I need the others to sleep. I put the gate up and he can't come past the daycare room. I've had enough of this. I think and almost postive that he has absolutley no schedual. I need to have a discussion with his mother, because this. Oh he just climbed the gate.

Omgosh - I have his twin here! He swings himself over the side of the pak-n-play in a nano-second! If he does stay in it he just screams. Last week in desperation I put him in my largest swaddle blanket. Of course he did not like it but he was asleep in 2 minutes, at which point I undid the velcro and he slept like an angel. The afternoon went so much better for all of us after he slept.

thats what I'm thinking, I need a wrap. He's the kid who also doesn't know how to play. He follows me around all day, I mean that I turn around and he's there.

This can be a tough age! I have an 18 mth old who is my busy mischief maker! I always look forward to afternoon nap when I get a little break! I can't imagine having your scenario going on & I'd be curious what goes on at home!

he's here everday till 1pm except tues and wed when he is here all day. I have never had one who would physically throw himself out of a pnp. if he didn't cry (which is a horrible dying animal cry) then I wouldn't care, its so bad that I can't even be on the phone without someone asking what is wrong. I can't term because I lost one last week.
