Can you tell I hate having a birthday on a holiday? As I said in another thread, I was 6 before I figured out the whole holiday was not for me. I also spent a good majority of my childhood having birthday cakes with black and orange frosting. :confused:

It is even worse than just having the birthday on Halloween because of another tidbit of info about me but I am going to PM that info to you because...well, because seriously it is just not cool, neat or funny.

But I don't have a problem at all turning 44! happyface HEck if you ask my DH, he'll say I don't mind because I rarely remember how old I am anyways because any time anyone asks, I immediately look at him for the answer because I think I stopped keeping track or caring looooong ago. ::

I once worked with a girl who's Birthday was on Christmas. Her family celebrated "1/2 Birthdays" with her. It worked out great!

I always say that when you have to stop to do the math, Birthdays just plain don't matter any more.

I know what you mean - I loved my 30s so much more than my 20s - until I got to my 40s that is. This has been my favorite decade so far!
